TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read the following document carefully, by booking you are agreeing to the terms & conditions outlined.
When you make a booking with us, we reserve our vehicle and driver/guide exclusively for your trip. Most trips are planned and booked well in advance and mainly for the same travel period between March and October.
With this in mind, our Terms & Conditions strike a balance between offering you good flexibility and helping us with our scheduling, avoiding our vehicle and driver being idle and loss of business.
1. Booking, Confirmation & Payment
- In order to complete a booking a deposit of 25% of the total tour value is required to secure the tour dates.
We cannot secure tour dates until a deposit is paid. Full payment is to be made if the booking is within 30 days of the tour date.
- For Day Tours we request full payment up front.
We will then send you a written confirmation of booking so as to confirm a binding contract between us which will be governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
The balance of the tour cost must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the tour start date and if not received on time we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled.
Payments may be made through the Bespoke Tours page of our main site www.rocphoto.ie or you will be sent a payment link. You will be advised on exact amounts and how to make payments by your dedicated tour planner.
2. Client Alterations
If, after we have confirmed a booking, you request a change in the dates we will do our best but cannot promise to meet your revised requirements, due to other booking commitments. Any alterations may mean an increased cost in tour prices and a change in tour itineraries.
3. Client Cancellations
If, after we have confirmed a booking, you request a cancellation the following cancellation policies apply:
Deposit Payment – If you cancel your tour up to 31 days prior to the agreed tour start date the deposit is 90% refundable. The deposit is non-refundable within 30 or less days from the tour start date.
Balance Payment – Full payment is required 30 days or more before the tour start date in the case of multi-day tours. This balance payment is non-refundable unless the tour is cancelled by Magical Ireland Tours. In this case see section 4 below.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email.
4. Magical Ireland Tours - Alterations or Cancellation
Once your booking has been confirmed we will make every effort to provide you with the booked tour arrangements but reserve the right to alter or cancel the whole or part of the holiday if we cannot avoid doing so. In the event of cancellation of a tour by Magical Ireland Tours, Magical Ireland Tours will offer a full refund of the tour price only, less any nonrefundable elements, or alternative travel arrangements to all clients booked onto the tour. In these circumstances, no incidental or consequential expenses will be paid by Magical Ireland Tours. Magical Ireland Tours will endeavour to help in finding alternative transport arrangements in this circumstance.
Your tour price does not include travel insurance. Magical Ireland Tours strongly recommends that the client purchases comprehensive travel insurance cover for cancellation including Covid cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and public liability before you travel. The client should ensure that any activities undertaken by the client during the Tour are covered by their insurance, in this regard, please note that certain activities may require specific insurance and it is a matter for the client to ascertain the position with their insurer before partaking in any activity. Magical Ireland Tours reserves the right to refuse admission to a passenger unless the client has arranged appropriate insurance.
